Any members here able to ship a pallet
Hi gang!
Need to ship out 4 rims with tires mounted. Best and safest way is on a pallet due to the size. Normally I would ship ups as I have in the past. I'm open to what you can offer or if you can send me to anyone I would appreciate it. Currently they wouldnbe shipped to WA if I except the bid. I just neednto see my options first.
Thank you!
Mike

my warehouse at my store does alot of logistics and we do LTT (less than truckload) shipping all the time but being that its on the other side of the country i dunno how much my work discounts would help since they would have to go through a "brother/sister" company of someone we use. have you tried calling YRC,averitt, or any other major companies and getting a price?
the way i shipped my last set of rims....i had tires removed from rims,i went to a local place and asked them of they had any boxes that would fit my 19's. packed them in their and shipped them then the tires were loose. could also cardboard the front if you have to keep the tires on and then ship as a whole....
where would item be shipping from? are you going to palletize them? PM me if i dont post back in here as i might forget to check it

I'll put them on a pallet. I have a few offers from uShip and normally I would box and ship UPS but they are just to big to package safely IMO. It's just getting a pallet to my house. The rest is pretty easy.
Thanks for looking out
And they are shipping from Chicago to Seattle WA.

Have you tried UPS LTL?

I shipped a pallet via UPS LTL for work back in late 2011, it was pretty easy and very quick!
I set it all up over the phone, and they gave me 50% off in the end too

nah these are at my house, I got a pallet secured and shipping secured. Just have to go pick the pallet up on Saturday from my friends company locally to me. Now to find some shrink wrap to secure them to the pallet. Can't wait to get these out of the garage and have some extra space finally.
