No, it doesn't screw on. There are 4 little screws that tighten it on. One allen wrench should have come with it. Real small. Then you tighten it that way.

Thanks for the help, My wife forgot to tell me there was a little bag with that stuff in it. I got it on no problem. The starter button just came in to so I have to go pick that up.

Big word of precaution on that starter button. I put it correctly centered when I had my gray 2010, took it off, put it on my red, apparently not centered correctly and my car shuts off because the button is not coming out fully. So right now, until I get time and a little warmer, I carry a very flat tiny screw driver and keep moving it up. Make sure it is centered EXACT.
That's all I'm saying.
