It's tough. I've heard that there is a white glove place over in Bucktown that does a great job. Not sure of the exact location, but that is my next adventure.

well i live in skokie. a northern suburb of chicago. i go to lucky's to get my car washed when i need a car wash.. they do hand car washes. they do have a early bird special. i think it was like $2 off.

Back when I used to live in Lincoln park, I used to pass this place all the time, always ton's of cars waiting to get in the place, now I see why, $10 for inside and out is a great deal!

I've taken your advise and been there a few times so far . For the money, you can't beat it. 10 bucks for inside wipe/vacuum/outside clean/windows cleaned. i think it's like 7bucks for the early morning (before 10:30 I think...I remember b/c I thought to myself thats when mickey d's breakfast ends...wow, im a fatass)

I usually tell them to just do the exterior (and clean the interior myself...especially with tint needing specific tint safe cleaner), shampoo front floor mats and spray wax.

I wouldn't take my prized weekend garage queen though b/c they use terry cloth to dry and the fiber gets stuck in the small molding sometimes (found a few last night as I was waxing). also, I know they are being nice but i caught a few of them cleaning the door jamb and inside of the door, noticing a spot on interior and cleaning that up using the same towel. Yes, they even wipe down the door jamb and clean the inside of the door. oh yeah, if you hate people moving your seat, better set that memory before you go.

they are really hard working people and won't cheap out on you. and i love watching the nice cars that roll in when I go. a new XKR pulled in behind me last time
