In Chinatown, Won Kow and Mandarin Kitchen are my favorites. For great Mexican, I love Lalo's and their are locations below.

Gianni's Cafe in the Deerpark area. Some of the best Italian food I've ever eaten. Portillos, Giordanos, Lou Malnatis, Sushi Kushi in Lake Forest (amazing), PF Changs...I could go on forever

Agreed Mike, I have been there on a date before and loved it. Was one of those spur of the moment tpe places that worked out well.

and hackneys in lake zurich the 2nd best burger with an awsome onion stack

Yo Yuki! Man, you need to holla at me when you get settled in the city. I didn't get my size by cooking! There's WAY too much to post here. What I would do is to find a restaurant on Metromix.com then cross reference it with yelp.com. Yo, I've been eating a lot of Vietnamese food... drool...
