Window Tint Officially Legalized in Illinois?
Hey guys saw this over on EVOM. Will we finally be able to tint our front windows??? It passed in the house and is now in the senate!!!

hmms.. i didn't know that it was illegal.... is it enforced just for IL plates or everyplate?

I was just told this also. Thanks for the link. Yes you must have the WT plate for anything darker then 35% all around or you can have it as dark as you want on all otehr windows including 6" down on front window. I hope they pass this!!!!!!!!!!! Would want it darker but I can live with this vs NO tint.

Peter,
I just seen you in Naperville the other day (Friday) around 2:00. I was by the Lexus dealer going to 59.
As for the tint, count me in when it finally passes, I will get it the next day.

Yeah, I was actually on my way to see how the Marauder was coming along at the LM dealer. You should have honked... We could have had a few brews at my place.

You made the light as I was going west on Ogden. I was headed to Bicylces ETC on 59.

How will they test this in the field? How can they be sure of what % tint you have that would be legal/illegal? Im pretty psyched though regardless

Certain states have different laws. IN is ok to have tints
