Default tint ticket. hrm..

Okay I just got 30% tint all the way around for not even a full 48 hours and today the moment I pulled out of my subdivison I was pulled for no front plate and tints.
They gave me a warning on the plates, but gave me a ticket for the tint. No big.
I just ripped it off (Yes I knew it was coming but never thought it'd be that soon. Funny thing is, I know the new fine is 250.00, but they only issued me a 75.00 ticket.

Interesting.
Damn Darien cops. I drove past him and was on my buddy's driveway and he even walked up to me and asked for my insurance and all that. He had a partner in the car, maybe was showing him the ropes. He was a nice guy though, but figured he had to meet his quota.

anyone else get pulled over since '09 and only got cited a 75.00 ticket instead of the the 250.00 ?

As much as I wanted tint, I am done with it. Naperville will actually break out the glove with tint. They usually are surprisingly gentle.

I have tints, but I also have my front plate on. Its one less thing for them to pull you over for. I wouldnt have ripped it off that quickly but oh well.

I got a $75 ticket in Chicago in early March for tinted windows, court is this Thursday. I'm just hoping the cop doesn't show up.

I thought the same thing, that the price had gone up to $250, not sure what ever happened to that.

I work in Naperville, sat right next to Warrenville, Naperville and State Troopers and never was pulled over. I do have my front plate so I honestly think that this is more the issue. I drive down 355 to 88 and back again daily and drive right next to State Troopers who never even look. I'm also doing between 75-80 mph!
