IMO 8k is too much. 6k is the absolute max. Plus if you do 8k you have to swap out the city lights to match.

The Z has a VG30DETT.
I also have a SC300 with a 2JZDETT.
Its a project I was working on. Its got a new motor installed by Sound Performance. I dont have any pics handy but if any one here is interested in the car send me a PM.
