Picture of the day thread.
Okay so I figured I'd start a thread like this.
The objective is to post up ONE picture per day (doesn't limit it to one a day overall, but only ONE picture PER person/username a day).
You must explain/describe why you chose this picture/what it means to you/where it was taken at (or if it was gotten off a webpage ->link).
just something to pass the time, and heck maybe even learn something new or two.
I will start.
Title: My valentine
Reason: My fiancee took this picture as I was coming back to put gas in the car on Valentines Day. I selected this picture because she is simply the love of my life, the air I breathe, and the reason why I stay strong inside and out to this very day. She is the very soul of my happiness and the reason behind my smile. She's not just my first but also my last. I love her with all I've got and without her my life would never be the same, I, would never be the same. The picture contains part of the gift I got for her, and she actually took the picture on a whim, I thought it came out pretty poetic and very well suited for that day, talk about creativity huh?
Location: Madison, WI.

just posted this thread up because I was thinking about her, then I was browsing through my SLR camera having memories of previous CL meets and random stuff so I thought of posting up a thread like this

I work for a Dutch company and regularly have to fly to Amsterdam on business (about 2-3 times per year). I took this picture on my second trip there...I think it really puts into perspective how small calls are in Europe.

The prom pictures i took about a year ago, for my brother and his gf's Whitney Young Magnet (chicago high school) pre-prom event.
i've taken pictures for 3 proms. my brother asked me to help their limo take pictures at a very last minute. and i am very happy with the outcome of these.

Well I might break the rules, but both of the pictures are related....
Title: Jennifer and I
Reason: Well I figure wih the recent turn of events that I'd post up a picture of us both. She really does mean a lot to me (without being too sappy). When my Father passed away last year, she was always there for me and used to watch every White Sox game with my Dad, even when I wasn't there, when he was really sick... My Dad really loved her a lot and I know he's looking down on us both.

What a great thread. Love the pics and Steve, your story is excellent. I am glad you shared the pics and sentiment. Is the Whistler you refer to in British Columbia, north of Vancouver? I love that area.
