Just wanted to provide some insight into our groups meeting at Lucky Strike in Lombard and post this with small dissatisfaction in mind in respect to all present. After last nights photoshoot, we all ventured as planned into Lucky Strike located on the west side of Yorktown Mall. This place was not busy at all possibly due to a Tuesday night. We all had to wait forever to be told the rear bar was closed, then upon being seated to an appropriate location, it took 15 minutes for an employee to acknowledge our existence (party of 10). Beverages took 15 minutes to arrive and consisted of soft drinks, water and 4 tap beers. Another 20 minutes goes by before the food order was taken. After the order was placed, another 30 minutes for by before the food arrived. The waiter only filled the drinks once during his parading through the dining area. Apparently chatting with co-workers was more important. Here is the clincher, 18% gratuity was added which is not upsetting, but since this guy knew he was getting this tip, he did not even care to do a good job. I have never had such bad service. Although the fod and atmosphere was great, I will not go back regardless of overpriced bar food.

This post goes out to those who want to try out Lucky Strike, and for all members present who were just as frustrated. Luckily the great company passed the time.

Yep, took forever for me to get my Tuna Burger I was surprised with the careless attitude of the waiter, probably doesn't care since he got a automatic 18% tip.

The servers (girls) were very fine though

Sorry you guys, i ddin't think service would be that bad. so I apologize on my behalf. Last time when I went, (around 2pm) I didn't have issues whatsoever, I was very pleased actually so I thought it'd be a great place to bring you all. won't happen again.

I thought Lucky Strike was a brand of cigarettes.

That sounds like a horrible experience. Each one of you should call the place back and talk to the manager about this guy (just dont tell 'em you were together lol), so 10 complaints in ONE night can get this guy in serious trouble.
