I could of sworn that I heard can't remember the website or # that in Illinois due to the bad potholes caused by the truck shovelers that they would reinburse you as long as you took pictures or described where you hit it.

I heard it last year but not sure if they are doing it this year.

I'll let you know if I find out.

I had to contact the Illinois Department of Transportation's Schaumburg office and request a pothole damage claim form. They in turn send it out to your address (cannot obtain online). They will make you work for it. Obtain pics, police reports, receipts, etc. Keep copies of everything. DO NOT give up. They will send you a letter denying the claim, but call back and push them to re-open. Most people give up.
