something to consider
here's what was done to my crashbar.
what you could do also is to reweld the back part that gets chopped out to
give the crashbar strenght. This was something I didn't get to do.
I'm putting a new bumper for 09 and I will get the back welded. Additionally,
I'm adding additional mont points to the crash bar so that the bumper is more secured.
Hope this gives you some idea.

Updates:
Finished oil return drilling.
Finished oil supply t-adaptors.
Finished clocking the turbo so the cold side is aimed upwards, as well as the oil return with enough space for the 45 degree fitting.
Bolted on FMIC to chasis.
All IC piping has been tested with couplers, will put on clamps tonight for final installation.
He's just waiting for the v-band for the downpipe today and we should be good to go.
