For those of you who deal with Chicagoland traffic, what experiences have you had with IS brake life? Should I expect to replace the pads before my lease is over? How many miles did you go until having to replace brake pads / rotors?

this really depends on your driving habits but I would say ~30k should be good.

20k is standard on the 2gen due to the "high friction" pads. Rotor life is expected to be 40-45k. I had replaced my rotors and pads on the front of my 1gen once a year due to rush hour traffic. Luckily, my buddy obtained the parts for wholesale for me. The stealership is pricey.
