I bet you have some monster trails up in Michigan. The local Chicago guys should all get together for an overnight excursion to MI. I would love to bring my my Fisher to Mackinac Island. I did not rent a bike last time.

We have some awesome trails here. I'd like to get a camping trip to Yankee springs going. One of the best trails in lower Michigan. If i were to go up north riding i'd recommend going to North Country Trail, that where they have the Iceman race every year, which i didn't get an entry to this year 
. Anyway if anybody ever wants go riding in Michigan PM me when you going and i'll give you a tour of some of the trails.
