Default My new winter car - with pics!

It's a '98 I30 White on tan leather. Automatic (I was dying to find a stick, but I had to get a winter car before the snow starts), 163k miles (yea, kinda high, but 1 owner, garage kept & FULL maintenance records from Infiniti dealer.) It needs a passenger side fog light, new front brakes, maybe new front struts & an antenna. The interior is MINT! The leather looks brand new & the exterior is amazing for a 9 yr old car. I can't wait for my 1st big detail.

I just had a 20% rear 35% side tint this week. I'm not planning on putting too much money into it. Maybe a lip spoiler and some I30t / G35 17" rims.

George

Looking good George. I still need to take my IS in to get some tint. I'm not sure if I want to bother tinting the LS. Maybe I can get a package deal.

I always liked the clean lines of the infiniti interiors.

I just had my LS tinted last week. I got a referral from alitii on this board. The shop was located in chicago, Logan Square area. I paid 140.00 all the way around 20%. The guy does a fantastic job.

Nice pix George. There's one small problem, though. Technically, now you can't say that your GS has never seen snow.

Damn it Eric! This was by far the most snow my GS has seen! LOL

I get so much crap from everyone for having a 2nd car. I think it's the best idea ever. Nobody realizes that it only cost me around $4k. All they see is "Infiniti" & they think i'm some kind of baller, haha.
Why expose the beautiful GS to all this crappy salt and the slippery roads?

I know what you mean. I got all these looks and questions when I said I picked up a Lexus. Even though it was a 92.... Although I got some more questions when I came home with the IS.... haha

You gotta love how the Lexus name really holds up. My dad's '92 LS has 220k+ miles on it & people still say "oooh, you drive a Lexus!" Little do they know it's 15 years old.

Looks good. I use to have a 97 5-speed maxima and last week my sister just picked up a one owner 97 5-speed black/black maxima. I think some Murano or 00-03 maxima rims would look nice on it.

I just got my tints done. I'm hoping all is well. He said it would take like 4-5 days to dry, so the slight bubbling should disappear. I just hope so.

Dzaztrbuse I just pmed you the number to the guy George refers. He did a good job all in all.
