48 hours to decide 250 AWD or 350 RWD...
What to do...
I have a 250 waiting on me...
my whole issue is the UMPH of the 350 vs the "safety" of the 250 AWD
milage isn't the issue... obviously i get more bang for the buck in options on the 250.. but i can squeeze the budget for a 350 if need be...
the issue is snow... any of you guys with 350s have driving issues with the snow based on the storm from a couple of weeks ago? I just run the idea of only maybe 10 days of the year where it might be serious snow vs the other 355 days!
i got about 48 hours to figure this one out... and thoughts?

Did it!!! I pulled the trigger on the 350 the other night.
Got a a sweet deal at Woodfield. the other night.. getting the G-spider rims on today, too.. still going to get a snow tire package for the new year...
I will post on another thread later.

Guess its too late.
But I was going to say neither, wait a year and get a real car with a V8 IS500
The IS250 is way underpowered and the 350 is just ok. For me the IS is way too small, but with 400+ horses I'd be able to overlook that.

Nice... Welcome to the club buddy. You won't regret the 350, its such a sweet ride.
I've got my snow tires/rims on and the car has been driving great in the dry. I can't wait to try them out in the snow. Although anyone who has any decent driving skills can do just fine with RWD in the winter, grant it they have some really good all seasons on or winter tires.
Just as an FYI I went with Blizzak LM25's, and they've been great on highspeed highway driving, contrary to what a lot of people believe about winter tires.

Thanks for the opinions, all
I ended up with the Tungsten Pearl... #3 on the list of colors...
beggers can't be choosers, especially when on the scale of 1 to 10... it still looks like 11.
