I need to get some work done on the rear bumper. Does anyone have a recommendation as to which body shop to go (or to avoid) in Westmont area? Thanks!

I have used Westmont Body Shop before when I had my BMW to paint some of the AC Schnitzer parts I added on. They did a great job for me. They are behind Laurel BMW on Ogden.

Yep, Westmont Auto Body is good, but they're kind of expensive. If you're looking for a good shop in Westmont that's fairly reasonably priced, check out Collision Craft. They are just south of Ogden, just west of Cass, right behind the Boston Market. They painted my rear bumper for $250 and did a great job. Ask for Chet. He's a really good guy.

I brought my car to several places for estimate including the two you suggested. The price difference is huge, which makes me worried about the quality and/or hidden charge. Anything in particular that I need to watch out for?

I just called that "cheap place" and asked for Chet, and he quoted me $600 to paint and install this little lip spoiler (mine is one piece however)...

The installing part consists of just mounting it and drilling two holes. Does anyone know of any places with more reasonable prices? I had this done on my other BMW a couple of years ago and it cost $200, but they are no longer doing these installs.
