Independent mechanic Western burbs...
Any recommendations for independent Lexus repair shops in western burbs? Old SC430 got more issues than I can handle. Thanks.

Go see Ahmed in Orland Park / Homer Glen area.
He is the one on YouTube "The car care nut". Master toyota mechanic who also works on lexus cars. Just went independent and opened his shop this year.
Have been to his shop. Very clean and does nice work for a fair price. Hard to get into and long wait list (1-2 months) for appointments.
Put in TCCN automotive Chicago into any search engine and his web site will come up for a number and can request appts online.

Kind of reviving this old thread...and my first post since joining today! Car Smart Automotive in East Dundee, IL is an excellent independent shop for Lexus/Toyota. Zoran is a great guy, very honest, and knows Lexus/Toyotas very well. He always recommends them too. He will be far less expensive than a Lexus dealer and you still get the knowledge and expertise on these cars.
