How much would it cost for the 4 windows to be tinted to 35% (that's the legal limit right) & the back window <--- this part
I hate having sun on my eyes, is it the same price for that banner thing you talked about?

Uhhh...I'm the one that said it was pricey... which it is.
Even Linus73's guy is cheaper... And Ive seen that guys work on a few cars here.
This $200-300 suburban tint job pricing is ridiculous.
Personally I would rather drive to the city, get a Philly cheese steak while I watch my car get done up. And have $100 left over.

makes my decision a whole lot harder to make
$150 for Johnson film & $260 for Formula 1 film (neither ceramic obviously)
any more input would be appreciated...

So I'd probably pay $50-$60 more in labor which in reality is not that bad if you want piece of mind.
Btw, does Caesar take the door panels off? Nino said it's required on this car to do a good job. So there goes maybe the extra $ in labor
though, I don't doubt Caesar does a good job also.
Just the fact that Nino is booked 2 weeks in advance and has all 5 star reviews everywhere says something...while Caesar is first come first serve, does not make appointments and is available today...
It's the LS460 after all and I'm willing to pamper it a bit. Call me dumb but I'll go for Nino...will post pics later

dont get me wrong, $260 is a lot, but you will not have any discoloration in film in its lifetime. and if you do experience any problem with it, he Nino will replace asap for free. there are plenty of places you can get cheaper, but theyre dont by hand, and some places dont have great quality film and **** turns purple. nino charges a good amount for what he does basically.

well, just got home from Nino's shop. awesome experience and I'm glad I went there.
gave CL as my reference and got a $20 discount at the end. pleasant surprise.. so $240 OTD for the tint job. 35% all around (the legal limit in Illinois )
the LS looks so much better with the 35% tint then before when it was "naked"
(I also think a limo tint would make this car look a bit less classy, imho so thank you state of Illinois too for the limit - I would've probably gone darker if it wasn't for it)
anywho, I'll post some picks tomorrow. (though the tint itself needs about 5 days to cure and air out all imperfections)
he had to take the door panels off and even let's you sit on a chair next to your car and watch him if you want. he is very careful to put everything back as it was and if any clips broke he will replace them (has boxes of clips for every manufacturer out there)
bottom line is, Nino is a solid dude that does solid work and uses top of the line materials. he doesn't mess around. knows his craft to perfection.
he doesn't also wash cars or install alarms or anything else in his shop. he just does one thing and he does it well: tinting (and exterior clear coating which is pretty much a cousin of tinting)
and no matter how much I hammered him about how cheap Caesar is compared to him (since both come highly recommended from here) he wouldn't speak anything negative about his competition or bad month Caesar.
speaks volumes about Nino's character.
if you want the best workmanship. good quality film and a professional care free experience go for Nino. If you want the cheapest he's not your guy.
I recommend him wholeheartedly.
Nino, if you're reading this, cheers for the awesome tint job!
