If it's just one car, McLaren P1.

I don't support or play the lottery, for two reasons.....First, IMO it preys upon the poor, who can't really afford to spend money for tickets (yet they do), and Second, I'm in good enough financial shape that money is not an issue with me. However, if I DID win the lottery, a tenth (tithe) would go to the Lord and to charities (I'm a firm believer in tithing). I might (?) move into a slightly larger townhouse with a garage. And, I'd probably have two vehicles...a nice SUV for bad-weather use or carrying things (maybe a Lexus RX), and a soft-riding luxury sedan......though I'm not sure if I'd want a new one (2017 Lincoln Continental would be the most likely), or an almost completely mint-restored big luxury car from the 1960s, with EFI and electronic ignition replacing the original carb and breaker-points. I had a big 60s-vintage Buick Electra 225 (Deuce and Quarter) when I was in college, absolutely loved it, and never forgot it. Also was impressed with the 1967 Chrysler New Yorker, 1968 Mercury Marquis, and 1969 Lincoln Continental, though I didn't own them.

I'd buy every car on this list here

http://jalopnik.com/these-cars-shoul...ist-1792182733

Yugo, Pacer, Gremlin, Trabant and the Corvair.....so I can be a model of horribly bad automotive decisions and eventually tell my wife "can you give me a ride, all my cars are broken".

I would have somewhat of a weird mix of vehicles.

MKIV Supra....already have one. Would try to find a mint original 6spd TT just because and mod my current one more to make most HP on this list.
New 2018/19 Supra maybe.
90's NSX
LFA
R35 GTR
997 911
69 Lincoln Continental Black.
5th Gen Viper
2018 ZR1
Toyota Crown not sure how I would get it over here legally lol.
Ferrari 488, the new TT V8 one.
Twin Turbo Turbo Diesel V8 Landcruiser again not sure how I would get one over here legally lol.

I would be buy a TVR Sagaris. I was sold on the looks and after Jeremy Clarkson reviewed it on Top Gear, plus the extra money would be used to import it here and some how make it street legal?

Fascinating mix of responses here. I think a question like this one really cracks open the door to ones inner clockworks.

For me, I'd buy an upscale but supremely comfortable and well-engineered car. You know, like the Lexus RX I currently have.

Then with the rest of the $950K I'd invest in older cars that were (a) interesting from a variety of perspectives and (b) certain to appreciate in the future. I just can't help myself; I must have some Jewish/Arab marketplace bargainer in my DNA--I love a good deal and a positive rate of return. Five years ago a young nephew seriously asked me for advice on buying his first car, and I seriously suggested an early-vintage Mustang, so that he could drive a car that was great fun but also a solid investment. So a month later he went out and LEASED a brand-new Mazda6. Sigh. Oh well, hope he enjoys it and yet has learned a lesson from the decision now, five years later.

Giving some of the money to charity is a good idea, but never a handout. More like matching funds to folks investing their own nesteggs in new ventures.

EDIT: One more thing. Saw one comment about the Veyron and thought back to the TopGear road test featuring Captain Slow in a Veyron setting a new world record of about 270mph (I recall). Ever since then when I read some breathless article about a Ferrari or whatever reaching 200mph I think to myself, "pffft--big deal." So yeah, Veyrons are pretty cool.

I hope that's just a photo-shop and somebody didn't deface a classic car that they only made 351 of and are now worth more than $1 million dollars

Like the ultra rich don't ever deface things?

I can't even watch West Coast Customs. I just end up yelling at the TV the whole time.

It looks like it's just lowered with some wheels. Nothing permanent.

With cars of this caliper, the more factory correct and original it is, the more its worth. That's what buyers of classic cars in this price range look for, pedigree.

Also I'd nominate the McLaren F1 to be #2 on my exotic car list, behind the Miura. Such an awesome car, nothing like it with that center driving position will ever be made again.

If I were you I wouldn't either lol.

I did think of one very expensive car I might consider, a Bentley Mulsanne.
