Which Lexus is for Me?
Hello, I'm looking at buying a used lexus but not sure which is the one for me. I'm coming form a Passat TDI, so I'd like something with a little power and that handles well. Also have a child so will need some back seat room. I'm in a warm climate and won't be going offroad so I don't see much point in AWD.
Looking at my price range, I see
2013 or 2014 ES 350 - does this have the power and handling I'll like?
2014 IS 250 or SportF - does this have the back seat room I'll need?
2013 GS - will I miss out on some extra option or tech but not getting a 2014?
My question is are there any options one car might have that the other wouldn't? Like bluetooth audio streaming, backup camera, backup and collision sensors, keyless entry, push button start, some suspension or handling differences that got added on in 2014 that might be missing to the 2013 GS or ES?
Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

The GS is going to come closest to German-esque dynamics, and power. the IS250 is a fairly weak and thirsty combo, and size comparable to the Passat. IS would be a step down in size.
2014 changes from a quick search on the GS Forum. Main element is the 8 speed auto, but I know that's been fairly heavily debated in terms of which people feel is "better"
What's New for 2014
-Transmission Sport mode now provides eight steps, rather than six, and also adds a kickdown switch
-Flush mounted sensors for available Intuitive Park Assist
-Full color display added to optional Heads-Up Display
-Available Blind Spot Monitor adds Rear Cross Traffic Alert and power-folding mirrors
-Siri Eyes Free technology licensed from Apple; compatible with iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 models
-Climate Concierge feature now included with optional heated/ventilated seats.
-Luxury Package changes: LED foglamps, Superchrome finish for 18-inch wheels, and the rear armrest control panel display adds display option to view radio station and song title information.
-Lexus Night View system discontinued
