So who watched The Grand Tour?
We just finished watching the first episode of The Grand Tour, thought it was great. Didn't mess with the recipe, the new 4K visuals are stunning, previews look like it's going to be a lot of fun this season.

Yep, it loaded last night at 11:30 apparently, we weren't able to watch until now.
Go, watch!

watched it last night, it was pretty epic. it was available on amazon as of like 8:30 last night (11/17), apparently we got an early release in the US. the best part is what a slap in the face it is to BBC execs hahaha... honestly i'm happy things turned out this way, their style of show is better suited to something that is less PG, and PC for that matter lol

Looking at the montage at the top of the upcoming season it'll be a mixture of both just like TG.
Seeing that the format is so close to TG, TG is going to be really tired now lol.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. She's not a car person either as I've said before but she was in her laptop googling the LaFerrari, which was awesome.

I'm gonna be honest...the opening sequence kinda got me. I know clarkson is a boar with a lot of warts. But when he looked to the left and then to the right (don't wanna spoil it), it was definitely an 'awwwwww' moment. My wife even said she wanted to cry.
As as for the rest of the show, it's going to be weird in the fact that they won't have 'current' car news because the entire shows have been taped and in the can. But it felt good to see the band back together. Even if we watched Chris Harris do the exact same episode with The Trinity a year to this very day, ironically. At least they livened it up with some different takes on the car.
Definitely looking forward ward to the next 11 (!!!) episodes...

They seem like they have a fresh energy about them also, like the whole experience has renewed them.

I dont understand the point of the "Celebrity" thing...thats the only thin that threw me off but the rest of the show was good. Looking at the montage, looks like there are going to be great challenges, and more amphibious cars!

I think perhaps they may not be able to have celebrities on to do a lap in general...

But yeah, the show was freaking awesome, the visuals were insane. Felt like I was watching the latest Mad Max movie during that bit where they drove in the desert. Also what sort of Mustang was Clarkson driving???? Looks to be a concept with an ugly grill, but I'm not that into Mustangs.
