Loved it!! Ever yearned for an Audi S5, but needed practicality beyond a standard 2-door coupe?? Well the all-new Audi S5 Sportback is for you. Sexy, powerful and practical, the S5 is a triple threat.

Does look good, and I've never liked the cheap and feminine hatchback look. What I think would be ideal is if they made the A4 or A6's greenhouse look like this (a lower, sleeker greenhouse). Those two bodies need some major styling enhancements around the C-pillar, like how this car here has that sporty kink in it. Such a combination on a proper sedan would be the ultimate car! The A4 and A6 have had the same perfect bubble greenhouse since the mid-90's and it's very tired.

Now, the most important thing about the car above is the color. Anyone know if it's the new Ara Blue (S3)? That is one hot shade. Too bad it will only be available on the expensive S5 and not on the more affordable S-Line.

Beautiful cars, looks like a slightly shrunk A7, which is my favorite German car on the market right now. Hopefully the price is shrunk as well, I love the A7, but its rather pricey at 70-80k with options. The A7 is a huge price jump from a basic A6, hopefully the A5 is priced more in line with the A4 sedan.

Beautiful, and I would have gone with the first generation S5 Sportback rather than an S5 Coupe if they'd ever brought it to the states. We have the '17 A4 and love everything about it. I think the A5 Sportback will be our next car when our G37 Vert lease is up in June. The interior and the drive will be like the A4, but the body will be dead sexy.

I had a 2012+ S5 race me in my 2003 GS430 (with 195k miles lol).... and it was dead even fro ma dig to 75mph... I would've won if I didn't spin so hard off the line or actually tried to launch it properly. That is pathetic.

How can people justify paying $65k-70k+ for something that slow? Why would you not just get the M4 instead that would stomp all over it, in my opinion looks better, and way nicer interior?

Because my life is not spent stop-light drag racing. It is spent driving and enjoying my car. And I think the S5 is still one of the best looking cars on the road. Re: your thoughts on the M4, opinions are like a******s. Everybody has one.

Exactly. I wouldn't be caught dead in an M4, but an S5 for sure.

Shutting down trolls is my favorite thing to do. Keep it coming.

I've driven both cars and cannot see why someone would go with the Audi at all. They advertise it as a performance car so you cannot tell me you don't stomp the gas every once in a while, racing or not. Otherwise, why are you not driving a Lexus ES?

I went with the $64k S5 because I can. I don't need you or anyone else to question my decision. What is YOUR next car?

I agree on both counts.

And BTW, a 2012+ S5 has the naturally aspirated V8 engine. 2013+ S5 has the 3.0 V6 Supercharged engine. It would have handed you your lunch. Do your homework.

Who is even talking about you at all? Nobody cares what you went with but glad you're liking the car you bough... I was just stating a point. Want to see some actual feedback about what makes an S5 worth the coin over other performance cars in that price range. You clearly failed to provide an ounce of info.

Right.... because a car with 349bhp is soo fast lol.

I know my GS is slow.... it's a winter car at this point for me. I was just laughing how such a new Audi was barely keeping up with the old luxury barge.
