LOL. Couldn't agree more. Reminds me of my neighbor's bulldog.

Evidence that whoever creates these knows nothing about Lexus. #5, "Tell them the LF-NX concept is the future of Lexus styling"...not only is it actually the future, they built the NX itself two years ago

Bulldog's cute, the RX not so much.

Proportions that work on the LFA just don't scale up to the SUVs.

The LFA doesn't have any design language that is carried into the RX...

i certainly wish that it did, though, because the new rx is hideous.

i agree. And I don't know lexus keeps focusing on using this giant girl that covers almost the entire bumper on almost every single car now. I love lexus don't get me wrong but they have to change it up and do something different.

exactly. the thing is, though, that they have just relatively recently implemented the spindle grill across the entire lineup and they very likely aren't willing to alter it so soon after its debut. i just hope that they don't drag it out as long as acura has.

Personally I feel the spindle grille looks great on the Lexus sedans (besides maybe the ES).

However, it just comes out so wrong on the SUVs. Sure it catches the eye, but is it really good design that will still look good many years down the road? Absolutely not. Audi's implementation of the "large grille" is much sleeker, and finished with tasteful chrome accents. In the Lexus SUVs, all you see is a bunch of plastic. The metal accents surrounding the grille are too thick and angular. Not only does the Lexus design look gaudy, but it looks cheap as well.

Actually, the spindle-grille probably looks better and/or less-imposing on the ES than on any other Lexus product. To my way of thinking, that seems to be the only vehicle where they have really integrated it well.
