I visit California quite often on business, and Tesla Model S's are like Camrys there. I liked the original one before they took the fake grill away.

I have seen two Model X's in Dallas and IMO they are ungainly and ugly.

Pioneers blazing trails are never without issues. But as usual CR's self-important and self-promoting 'reports' are looking firmly and far back in a rear view mirror. By the time they publish stuff, a fast moving tech co. has already dealt with issues, so the report is irrelevant for new buyers.

A Tesla spokesperson said the company had resolved many issues since the Consumer Reports survey was conducted last spring, and pointed to other industry awards, including industry consultant AutoPacific's recent ranking of Tesla as "the most satisfying premium brand."

That's assuming that the Tesla spokesperson was correct, accurate (or even honest) in the claim that the company has addressed issues since the CR survey. How many times, over the years, have we heard double-talk from auto manufacturers to that regard?

Except for what they might expect.
