Seen this funny Prius review yet?

The best part of it was probably the demonstration of the self-parking feature....that was nice. Other than that, I wasn't terribly impressed with his style. Star-Trek music and pop/funk-dancing, IMO, do not describe cars.....they describe emotions (a credible vehicle will sell itself, without theatrics). Also, at one point, he commends the car's quietness, then turns around at the end and says it has too much road noise.......which has actually been a problem with the Prius for years due to its light weight, thin materials, and lack of insulation.

it was entertaining, informative (without overwhelming with info like alex on autos) and good production. suggest you skip the dancing going forward...

PS About road noise - Yes at speed i should have said - because at the time the car was quiet - actually faultless at slow speeds. And its way too loud at motorway speeds but still quieter than the new Volvo V40 which costs more.
I am finding my feet on the channel - finding out what works - how much banter - and so on - I WILL find the balance that engages and displays enough unique personality or creative to make this worth doing. I am naturally stupid and so being serious on a car that isn't doesnt seem to me very forwardable content.
Clearly however as is the case with my 535d video with 79,000 views doign a ****** sign but other than that keeping it pretty straight seems to work better than finding angles that havent been covered. That said - my collegues all work in tv and radio and they were all really loving it, as were Toyota, so that is very interesting. if not a little disheartening.
As Terry Wogan said - "they will either like you, or they wont"
This guy got a lot more traffic, so maybe I need to be more like him. Im not even indexed on YT yet.
Essentially I am doing this to brush up on presenter skills, and to experience great cars, which is all good for my professional life.
Im gonna need a thicker skin.

i think you're doing a great job, and it's easy to be a 'critic'. but you're gonna get trashed on the internet no matter what you do. do you think jeremy clarkson worries about all his negative press? uh, no. in fact, he loves it.

1,300 views...not worth my time.
Fact is that the new Prius is horrendously ugly in a demented sort of way. I cringe at the sight of it, what a turd. The people who willingly spend money on them are something else.

I thought the review was very good. It takes all kinds of reviews, and as long as they're entertaining I like them all, from ones in this style to more detailed fact base reviews like Alex on Autos.
Keep it up, great production value!
