I am looking forward to seeing this. I think we all know it will be something on the lines of a MB S-Class Coupe but more luxurious and bigger.

The S-Class Coupe is 197.9in or 16.49ft, this monster is supposedly 19.6ft

The hood looks super long. Who knows, maybe they came out with a 10-12L V12 that be like an "F U" to rest of the industry. Bringing back the golden years of the large engines from the 20s-30s.

Cadillac, Rolls-Royce, BMW, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, and Bentley are a few I can think of throughout their histories of having racing programs, prototypes, or several road going cars with V16 engines

I'd wager it'll be a tweaked bi-turbo V12 pushing 700hp in this Maybach Coupe

Always thought this was one of the classiest luxo-barges ever... RR and Bentley could use a competitor in that space

I was under the impression this was a teaser for a real super car not a GT cruiser

Maybach supercar? Naw, they're about ultimate luxury. The only thing super is it'll go super fast in a straight line

Meh. Doesn't impress me. I can remember when the biggest American luxury cars (Cadillac, Lincoln, Imperial) were significantly longer than that.

6 metres = 19.685 feet

How many American cars (not counting lengthened limo models) -- even in their heyday -- were 20 feet long or greater?

Late 60s/early 70s standard-length Caddies/Lincolns/Imperials (not the stretched limos) averaged 225-235 inches long, which is just under 20 feet, with standard-length wheelbases of 125-130 inches. Curb weight was typically 4800-5400 lbs. You have a point, though, that that isn't much, if any longer than the Maybach....at least not as much as I originally thought. Still, those cars didn't cost a Maybach's price, ether. As I stated earlier, the Maybach's dimensions, for the price, doesn't impress me.

This is not about price. It's a zenith of ultimate luxury and an opulence few could match.
