Default Who Is Your Lender For Your "Older" Lexus?

Hello everyone,
I want to get a 2002 Lexus GS, but my credit union won't lend to me for cars older than 2007. Question for everyone is who did you use to purchase your "older" Lexus? I don't feel like using the mom n pop dealers lender, but if I have to then I will. Thanks for your help.

I've used usaa for older cars in the past. Never an issue with a cars age.

Penfed or Navy Federal if you qualify.

For the ~$5k (less trade) that a 15-year-old GS should cost, probably best to just save and pay cash.

in feb this year i went to my credit union to withdraw $6200 to buy a 93 sc400 and the teller said you can get a loan for the car.i said the car is too old and she said if you credit score is good we will cover it,so i said ok.well my credit score was 830 so i got the loan for 36 months at 2.9%.at that interest i will leave the money in the bank.

If you have a good score we can usually get LFS to buy a reasonable mileage older Lexus. On occasion we'll get a nice older LX or GX or LS that's worth money and they'll finance it.
