Everything looks great except for the rear door handles.

That one little thing irks me...

Same here. I'll compare it the Subaru XV.

One thing I found out about the C-HR it may be higher than the Rav4. I hope that is true.

Same. They could have just extended the rear window and created a regular door handle in line with the front handles.

Is it the colour or have the body-side curves and creases been toned down a bit?

"Hidden" rear doors (by placing door handles high up, in an expected location) on 4-door coupe crossovers is the current fashion (see Honda HR-V), as is a floating roof. This C-HR has both.

Wow that is one giant pile of ugly. Interior seems to look good except for that huge nav screen that looks way out of place.

Other than the child proof rear door handles, I really like this thing.

This one might be hiding, but some vehicles don't offer them anymore. CD's are becoming antiquated and phased out by audio sources such as BTA or USB in the automotive industry. 2009 was the last time a cassette deck was available in a US Lexus. In 2013 Lexus made the move to Single disc vs 6-disc changer. I wouldn't be surprised to see them gone from 95% of new vehicles on the road 2020.

I'm very interested in this, despite it being a bit of a departure from my FR-S.

The last 3 rental cars I've had (2 Sentras and a Jeep Cherokee) didn't have CD players

Wouldn't really say it's "missing" it.... haha do people still use CD's?? CD players are being phased out much faster than the cassette decks.

Many automakers opt to leave out the optical drive as it typically means they can fit a larger screen in the dash. Some that make CD players optional stick the single slot player in the glove compartment or center console now.

As much as I like the new interior, it totally clashes with the exterior. One is introverted, the other is extroverted. Too much theme contrast.
Rear visibility looks horrible with the thick d-pillars, shortened side windows, and tiny porthole rear window. That would be a deal breaker for me.

Spanish mag has real life pictures from Milan fashion week. It looks really nice. They say it is luxury/Lexus like interior, feels good everywhere you touch. They also said that leather piece on top felt good.

They also have over 60 Toyota pics half of which were not on Toyota site.

They say only difference between mid spec and high spec model interior wise is half or full leather seats.

Too bad he took pics and video with what it looks like a phone camera.

Czech mag had some stock photos not on official EU sites. They say every small detail is done with care, for instance doors are very detailed, something we complain about here. Instrument bin is similar to new Avensis.
