toyota lexus touchup paint expiry date.
Do the Toyota/Lexus touchup paint bottles have a production or expiry date written on them? I can't seem to find anything on the bottle.

Good question. I've never seen any guidance about it and have kept touch up paint for extended periods. I know it can get thick after some time, but I keep mine in the house (not the glovebox) and find it lasts for years.

My dual paint pen has one. Keep the paint in the fridge.

Have bought touch up paint from O'Rielly's one time. I think everything they had on their shelf was bad. Went home to use it, it was old and had turned into goo. Take it back and they exhange it, no problem. Open the new one at the store, its goo as well.
The stuff doesn't last forever. Its possible it has been sitting in a parts warehouse for years(especially one that isn't heated/ac'd).
I'd open it up and check the stuff before you leave the dealer.

Personally I only use the stuff to fill in rock chips, so I just use the base white coat.
