Looking to buy a used Lexus (any advice)
Hello,
I was told on the ls1Tech that a ls430 is a great highway car,
is the ls430 reliable?
what type of maintnance do i have to do (just oil changes or more?)
also any idea how many miles i can expect out of the engine/transmission
before it becomes a money pit?
I always bought American cars, but i do know forign cars seem to hold up better,
any input is welcome
Thank you
Dave

Generally speaking, any of Lexus cars are very stable and reliable.
But it will still cost you a LOT if its major components break out of warranty.
You'd better do a complete mechanical check/exam before you buy it. If you can get the complete service records, and no major issue shown, you may go for it.
Good luck.

The car im looking at right now is a ls430 (i hear they are great for long trips and road trips)
I drive a cadillac dts before on road trips, but after a few hours they are so uncomfortable (the seats)
My trans am has more confortable seats than that cadillac
Was wondering how the ls430 stacks up (someone said they are like the kind of road trip cars lol)
