Used RX hybrid? Solid choice to haul gear, pets and get decent mpg.

There is no A3 wagon, or at least not in the US. Why not an impreza hatch?

The next car I plan to get is a Golf R. It is also the car I would get were money no object. AWD, German, fun to drive, buttoned down, hatchback, MT. Nothing else available that ticks off all those boxes. Only qualm is no diesel.

I forgot all about those, but man they are pretty sweet. Good looking car IMO, the Acura beak isn't too obnoxious on this car like was the old TL. Honda knows how to make an awesome, fuel efficient 4 cylinder engine better than anybody else. Should be dead nuts reliable and cheap to service as well, something I don't think that Audi A3 will provide. Plus I think they have more room in the back seat and cargo area than the A3 wagon.
