Gotta love old 70's/80's cars that were painted the same color as rust and looked dirty sitting on the dealer lot lol.
In that specific photo, though, that is not just the paint you're looking at......that IS rust.
I can remember when those trucks were brand new....(mid/late 70s). Back then, the Silverado name referred to only the top-level trim line for Chevy trucks (somewhat like today's Ford's F-150 King Ranch)......the series itself was known as the Chevy C/K line.
