Default teen crashes into another car attempting to hit 100 mph on snapchat filter

some people, i can't even...

i'd like to be able to say everyone was ok but the driver that she hit suffered a traumatic brain injury and tried to sue snapchat, claiming that the existence of the speed filter "facilitated the excessive speeding"

be smart out there!

Read about this story earlier - the most amazing aspect is the teen snapchatting a selfie of herself strapped onto a medical gurney after the accident. It really shows the different mentality of the younger, social media-obsessed generation.

seriously, i can't stand it. people have lived for hundreds of thousands of years doing just fine without having to know what everyone else is doing all the time.

Wow I'm impressed the cars protected the occupants pretty well. While one of my client just got killed in a 35mph car accident :c

This is why teen-agers are charged some of the highest insurance rates in the business.

While no vehicle is foolproof, Mercedes and Volvo have the safety reputations they do for a reason.

Yea, don't use it while driving. That is a weak disclaimer

I believe you yourself have posted video of you driving your LS400 at speeds up to and over 100MPH on public roads (with traffic lights!), including a handheld filming of your gauge cluster at speeds up to 100 MPH.

This is you, holding a phone or camera filming the instrument cluster while accelerating from 0-100MPH:

Sorry, but you are no better than this girl. Exactly the same thing, you were just luckier.

Add a teenager's feeling of immortality with the idiocy of using technology to prove it and this is what you get. So sad for the other driver who now suffers with brain damage. It should have been the Snapchatting teenager who already had brain damage due to too much time on her device that should have been the loser in this unfortunate incident.

Posting a selfie of herself in the ambulance. Disgusting.

lol i knew you'd say this... on the traffic light one i literally wasn't driving (who do you think was recording?) and as for the other one i don't see who was driving... could be anyone.

i know i won't change your mind but believe me it's not the same thing. PM me if you want and we can go back and forth but let's keep this on the snapchat story.

It's the same thing buddy. I hope you realize that before we read about you in a news story.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, as you can see in this article this stuff really does happen when people use public roads for this goofy stuff. Poor SOB just minding his own business and bam, his life is ruined.

Any idiotic application and a driver with a judgement and skill of a 5 year old. I hope her license is revoked for 10 years.
