Default Weathertech Floor Mats

http://www.weathertech.com/products/...FQwjHwodIKEMCA

My brother recently, for Christmas, gave me a set of mail-order WeatherTech floor mats for my car (mail-order, they run over $100, but appear to be worth it). They are custom-molded for each individual model-year vehicle, using a laser-technique, and, unlike regular floor mats from auto-parts stores, cover the entire footwell and have up-flanges along the edges to keep water and dirt from spillling or leaking off the sides of them onto the carpet. Of course, the entire carpet is hidden under the mat, and none of it is visible, but that is the cost of total protection. The mats are quite thin and light, but made from what seems to be a quite-durable rubber/vinyl compound, and people who have owned them say they last a good 5 years or more without holes or excessive wear in them. Just want to say I'm quite pleased with them......they entirely fit the two front footwells just lie a glove, and are quite effective.

I notice that this company advertises quite a bit in the auto-enthusiast magazines....they have for years.

Great Gift!!

They were the first item I ordered when I got my RC 350 this past August. The same custom molded / cut model. They are awesome and worth every penny. They cover the carpet even up to the side door sill. I had them on my last car (G37 coupe) and they basically cleaned up like new and sold on ebay same day they were posted. They'll be on my next and every car as well.. so long as they keep making them. My factory Mats sit fresh in my closet at home.

You will be happy.

I got a set for the Q50 as soon as they were available (they have some lag time from when a new model is introduced until when they stock their version).

Mine are 2 1/2 years old, fit great from day one and can hold a lot of water.

They are also a IL company so it is fun to support a local outfit.

You're not alone. Everyone I've heard from who has them likes them.

Actually, I just got them a few days ago....though they were supposed to be a Christmas gift. Somebody at the shipping company messed up my brother's first order and sent the very large mats for a GMC Yukon instead......the order had to go back and be re-done for the correct mats. It was worth the wait.

Their Company Store in Bolingbrook is a fun place to visit and buy mats, liners and their other accessories. They have a coffee/snack bar and sometimes have cars, trucks or motorcycles on display.

A lot of praise on this product in the GX 460 forum. I ordered the factory luxury carpeted mats for my GX. I can get away with this for my use and weather conditions. If I needed to go with a rubber mat, this would definitely be my choice

Yeah--I've seen their ads in Car and Driver for 20 years at least. They advertised pretty heavily over the holiday season on local news radio here in Philly--I guess it worked.

Enjoy!

LexBob2

When I called to order they offered a visit to Bolingbrook, but it is a hike from Chicago or Lake Bluff where I work.

Maybe for the next car

Been meaning to get some of these for several years now, finally bought sets for my car as well as my father-in-law's for Christmas. They've been great so far. Only downside is the factory velcro pads weren't screwed in perfectly evenly with where the floorliners want the hooks to be. So for the moment the driver's side on my car is a tad crooked, and I don't have the hooks installed on the passenger side.

Great product and company. I have been using their floor mats and cargo mats for over 10 years, very good quality and fit, not to mention they are highly durable.

I have one for my SUV's cargo area and it's quite durable! A must for SUV owners.

I actually prefer the mats to the liners:

They don't make them for the 13+ LS460. Floorpan design is the same as the rest of the 460s, but they wouldn't have Lexus' new lock system, they do have the liners available but I only put them in during the winter, and store them all the other times so the molded nature of the liners doesn't work for me.

I had to get the OE Lexus mats which aren't as nice and cost more
