What is the best Lexus you've owned

My 2008 IS250 is working out well, although I don't have another Lexus to compare it to. Thus far, it has been the most trouble-free car I've owned. I have never kept anything beyond the end of a lease, but I ended up buying out this one and intend to keep it for the longhaul. It makes financial sense and I feel it has aged extremely well to the point where not much else new looks or drives much better.

Dunno dude. Sounds like you're coming up in the world, nothing wrong with that. But are you sure about buying a depreciating asset on finance money? Doesn't sound like it's a sure thing yet.
Nothing wrong with an old Honda. I had one. Here's the question. Can you afford to spend money on the car, and various maintenance issues to the tune of $2000 and up in a flash? That's what any premium used car will run you.
I don't blame you for having a very wide perspective. But between a used LS400 to an IS to a RX is a heck of a range of vehicles. That's why folks here will tell you this, that and the other. You probably need a financial adviser

Lexus IS 200 and 300 for sure. The only Lexuses I had that was a true pleasure to drive in every way. Perfect balance in every aspect with a weight about 1400 kg,( about 3000 Ib ). A weight that the "sporty" Lexus cars of today only can dream about . 200 was pretty slow but that manual gearbox ( actually the same as in GT 86 today ) and the sound of the I6 made me forget about it. No issues at all and not a single rattle or squeak from the interior. And believe me, I did not drive those cars gentle .

I've never had the privilege of owning a Lexus prior to this one, but it's the best car I've ever owned, by huge margin.
Having owned an Acura RL, BMW 330 and 530, this is hands-down my favorite. Talk about being insulated from potholes, road ruts and everything else, this does it in spades, without feeling like a 70s Buick. It feels solid like a rock, vault-like, amazing-like (lol) without the harshness that the BMWs I've owned.
I've driven in an S550 and those same terms also come to mind (solid and vault-like), but it just didn't insulate nearly as well in my opinion.
Anyways, I couldn't be happier. First V-8 I've owned too and glad I got to experience it before everything turns into turbos, hybrids or pure electrics.

Having had other Lexus products too, the LS is special I agree but the other products are very good also. I'm past the Toyota FWD engineered models, so no ES, RX, NX, CT for me, but I loved my GS, the IS is a really fun little car as is the RC.

Tough one for me, but looking back, the one that had the most impact to me was my first Lexus, the '05 RX 330.
Not only was the build quality and fit/finish beyond anything for its time in that price range, but I loved the rarity of the adjustable air suspension and how the car automatically dropped when shut off, to ease egress. Very slick.

Yeah RX's with that air suspension I don't believe were ever sold in the US.

My 2002 ES still has the best interior material quality of any Lexus and car in general that I've experienced. I imagine the ls430 is the same way. Wasn't that impressed with the 460 or even s class really. F430's have nice leather though.

I had a 2003 ES, its still in the family actually. The interior on those is nice, and the materials are nicer than the newer ES sedans but not the better Lexus cars, LS, GS, LX, etc.
