The new Supra
This isn't a new LFA. That car was something else, a handmade obsession to detail, and there probably won't be another like it. Sniff...
This car is more like a reborn Supra, a high performance coupe cruiser with luxury thrown in. I like the interior and exterior styling but the powertrain choices are lackluster. They should have made a high power hybrid or plugin LC500h to go against the i8. Now that would be a proper halo car for Lexus.

The LC500 is the volume model. An LC500h with a 3.5L V6 and Hybrid system north of 450hp will be announced in the near future.

I wish they had the concept designers at kelty do the actual car. They also designed my favorite lexus, the SC 400.
Except for that grille and the over designed headlights it looks goooood.
I really love the interior with the exception of the steering wheel which looks like more spokes and buttons than grip.

1) if it is released in 1.5 years (2018 model), i worry the competition (mainly the 650i), would have sufficient time to respond (refresh, power bump, etc.). Bring it sooner, please Lexus!
2) Why the LC moniker, instead of SC? Does that mean the BMW/Lexus venture will bear the SC then? So you would have the RC as the compact, the SC as a pure performance sports car, and the LC as the luxo GT?
Still very impressed, even more so then the original LF-LC concept!
