Default New beginnings....my christmas present

Well folks, I decided to check out the Infiniti Q50 and make the decision to purchase over the IS350. The deal (LEASE) I got for the Infiniti was so much better than what Lexus was offering plus I work for Infiniti so it was even better. End of the day it comes down to what I can afford. Plus the Q50 looks longer (it is) and I just like bigger looking vehicles.

2015 Q50 premium w/navigation, ambient interior lighting, all weather floor mats and all weather trunk mat with a big red bow Black Leather interior. In three years I plan to be back with Lexus though.

The gas mileage is slightly getting better. Keep in ECO mode though and the power delivery is amazing with nice soundtrack. I feel like it does have nice road presence too. Im happy with the purchase

Overall I think it's a good car. Couldn't wait for the updated engines?

I wouldn't want the base four cylinder engine, I don't want the hybrid and the TT engine would have been way out of price range for sure. getting rid of the 2015 for 2016 year was a steal for me. The 3.7 what I have now is plenty good.

Very nice! I've always had a preference for these over the Lexus IS and the always-great lease deals sweeten the pot. I can't wait to see this model line flourish once the direct steering gets recalibrated with the facelift. This to say nothing of the new engine offerings.

Judging by the look of your car it has hydraulic steering, correct?

congrats! absolutely love the 3.7L engine and while i haven't driven one, i'm sure it's a great car to drive. i spend a lot of time in a G37 (Q60) coupe and love it.

i think the q50 is a GREAT looking car.

Congratulations. Did you get the version with the Direct Adaptive steering? Very few, if any, CL members own a Q50 with that option, so if you did, it will be nice to hear what the driving experience is like. I reviewed a Q50 myself a couple of years ago, but it did not have that option.

Congratulation and enjoy! If infi upgrade faster shift transmission on the refresh with the twin turbo then it worth the money and wait.

Why splurge for a 300+ hp car just to keep it in ECO mode? I have a 328--I find it painful to drive in EcoPro. My old IS250 was even worse in Snow Mode.

I've had my lexus for 8 years, I dont know what it is but as much as I highly value them, they just dont make the car that checks my box anymore

Congrats

The DAS and Infotainment blah blah killed the initial momentum for these excellent cars.

Your back seat passengers will love you too/

I have over 36K on the car in 2.5 years and it is a perfect commuter.

MM, I have the DAS and it has been fine, not S2000 steering but just fine for this kind of car. It is going in tomorrow for a recall related to the DAS freezing up in MN type climates.

Congrats on your Q50 also. I didn't know you had the DAS. Not surprised on the recall....it will probably take a few years to get teething problems out of all-new technology like that.
