This car makes absolutely no sense at 150k. The number has to be wrong. The only way it would be justifiable would be huge future tech and I'm not sure I want that either.

I'm in the same camp. I'll keep my fingers crossed Lexus is playing smarter than what this article is suggesting.

So same engine as RC F and GS F, in a sexier body and more luxury, and it would be 150k? I was fine with the car until I see the 150k estimated price...
At this price point, my choice would be S63 Coupe ( granted its little more than 150k ), or at least a loaded M6...

I would not believe that a 2017 LS or a LC with a sub 75K starting price could honestly be considered in the same tier as a A8/S/ or 7 Series or the equivalent 2 door coupes.
The future success of the spindle front end IMO will be determined by these upcoming releases.
Personally, the LC does not look all that good.

Dang, that's way more than I had imagined this unit to be. At least from the test car photos, I don't see anything exotic enough to justify such a price point. Hope it all makes more sense soon.
Now, someone above just mentioned they hate driving the IS200t, and miss the IS250. I've got to hear more on that...

i am not sure about exotic materials, it won't make much sense anymore. they should have learned from lfa
that's what i think too. if it's 150k and we already know the drivetrain (assume that's true), there must be some insane new tech that makes this car super special, otherwise i don't know how it makes sense. i mean, honda just released pricing on the nsx and it starts just north of 150k

Come on now, we hardly know anything about it. All there is to go by are goofy rumors and some speculated price point. I think seeing the RC F as a coupe with a price near 80k and its tech, this car will need to be a step up in every way. So the price will reflect it. It'll be at the top, so I think over 100k is reasonable especially if they're using carbon fiber. If not, it needs some trick tech or performance/luxury to justify its premium.

Concept vs Reality
$150k for the concept car that is pure sex... Im all in !!
$150k for the soulless version that will hit the market... thanks but no thanx. Simple does not stir the emotions & for the money, doesnt beat out the comp.

When did you see this 'soulless' production version?
