After viewing the video, it barely has the look of a $100k car. However, I think Lexus could have done a little more business and profit here by toning it down slightly and offering it for $70k. That would have been a sweet spot more people could access, thereby getting more of them on the road and getting the Lexus name spread further. I believe the same thing should have been the case with the LFA, which Lexus w**r*d and sold so few, no one got to see them on the road.
By the way, those exterior door handles do not seem easier to use than today's traditional units. There shouldn't be several steps to open any door. Maybe there's a method to it not shown here, so I'll reserve judgement.

love the car. and I mean LOVE it. but I HATE the electronic shifter its going to have.
I just don't do electronic shifters. sad because if you look at other luxury cars, everybody else has gone to electronic shifters. we are the last holdout with real gear shifts. I know there is no clutch sadly, but at least there is still that satisfying "clunk" when shifting from P to D. very sad to see that go. not a fan of electronic parking brakes either, but oh well...
speaking of electronic shifters.. BMW has plastic mock shifters, Jaguar has that stupid motorized rotary dial, but the BIGGEST ****kicker is what Mercedes is offering, I mean Offering without another choice, these days and has for several years now. -electronic column shifters.. really? I mean.. REALLY??! WTF! I guess the designers at benz ran out of ideas scratching there heads and said, "HEY! LETS PLAY PRETEND WE ARE BUILDING 1980s OLDSMOBILES WITH A LITTLE NEW GIZMO FOR A SHIFTER!!!!"

Nice job on the video!
I think the car looks great. Glad its here, cannot wait to see one in person. As much as I've enjoyed seeing it in Red and Blue, that Atomic Silver looks just as good. I'm starting to think the lines on the car are so well done it may be one of the few cars that will look great in any color.

Lexus has stated that the LC will be built in Japan.

“The LC will be built at the Motomachi plant, the same factory where we produced the LFA and some of the Takumi who worked on that model are now working exclusively on the new coupe,” said Lexus Takumi Koji Sato. “This way we have been able to tap into their knowledge and experience in areas such as the carbon fiber components, leatherwork and hand-finishing.”
