Not a bad effort IMO. Looks better than the sedan at least.

I was hoping the rear taillamp section would light up across that top arc, but it doesn't, not even with the brakes.
Other than that I think it's a great design (I also think the sedan is quite attractive as well). Sharp creasing and character lines down the side of the body, hood, etc.
I can't wait for the Si and Type R variants!!!
The Civic sedans went on sale last week I believe.

Dang, that is NOT attractive in the least! The front end is pre-crushed and slopes down like Barney the Dinosaur. The side profile sags like it's broken in the center. And the tail is a complete bulbous mess. The pointy hatchback look is frumpy, dumpy, nerdy, and econo. They should just put a wiper on it and sell it as a hatchback, not a coupe. A coupe has an extended rear with a trunk, just like iconic Civics of the late 90's/early 2000's. Second, the taillights are way overstyled. The FCX Clarity was bad enough. Here is part two.
Back to the front, the bulging black plastic around the foglamps scream CHEEEAAAP. If you are going to stuff a ton of lazy black plastic on the front of the car, at least do not pronounce it. HIDE IT! And lastly, the chrome bar choking the grille is no different than a really bad braces job on an elementary kid. Tacky, like in all Acuras and recent Hondas.
Total stylistic fail, and could have sold way more beyond the requisite Honda fanbase.
