Default Backed out of Range Rover for this mint Porsche Cayenne

While we were waiting to get some maintenance items worked out on the Range Rover Sport we received news that a mint 2010 Porsche Cayenne with 55k was traded in. The Range Rover was easily forgotten after seeing the condition of this car. The car was a one owner with all service records, the interior still maintains the new Porsche smell and is absolutely immaculate. The paint has clearly been cared for as there are no swirls, door dings, or bug splatters on the single stage black paint. I was able to pick this car up for a little over 25k and for a daily driver for the wife I am very happy.

MUCH better purchase. A lot of the typical first-gen Cayenne issues were addressed by 2010 so this should make for a less trouble-prone ownership.

agree 100%. drivetrain should be very reliable and overall a much better build quality than the RR. this car was obviously well taken care of and that gives me more confidence as well.

I agree Bagwell! the plan is to black out the aluminum trim and go with 22x10.5 wheels all around like these:

Wow. Looking sharp & being smart. MUCH better purchase IMHO than Range Rover. Going after a Panamera myself but haven't found a smoking deal like yours. Congrats.

Congratulations....looks like you got a nice deal there.

I wouldn't worry about replacing the wheels. You will probably get a smoother ride with the ones you got now, rather than larger 22s.

Wow!
That's a really good deal you were able to obtain!
I'll be honest and say that reading this thread has my wheels turning, as my wife is getting an itch for a nicer vehicle.
She just came home two weeks ago and told me how a colleague of hers just purchased a Cayenne-black at that!
Couldn't be happier for you and congratulations!

Much better buy than the RR. I agree, those wheels are hideous, have to go. Even if you don't get something real big it would be an improvement.

LOL, its a Porsche. If he was worried about the smoothest ride he would have bought a used Lexus RX.

How do you black out the aluminum?

A black wrap? Will that hold up?

Nice deal Bro.

Must of the initial issues were eliminated for the 2008 refresh. The V-6 didn't have nearly as many issues as the V8s.

So does that have the VR6 engine under the hood??? I would've held out for a V8, but then again a smoking deal is a smoking deal.

Well, let him decide that, not you. If he chooses, he can disregard my comment.
