Lightbulb Kia

Kia Motors America (KMA) today announced best-ever October sales of 50,044 vehicles, a 12-percent increase over the same period last year. Led by the Optima and Soul with 14,381 and 12,246 units sold, respectively, October marked Kia’s 6th straight monthly sales record.

“Kia is a challenger brand, and our ability to outpace the industry without the benefit of a truck in our lineup speaks volumes about consumers discovering the new Kia,” said Michael Sprague, chief operating officer and EVP, KMA. “With the all-new 2016 Optima arriving in showrooms and the completely redesigned 2017 Sportage making its North American debut at the LA Auto Show this month, this is an exciting time for Kia as we push toward a strong finish to the year."

Another month where Lexus went up almost purely from the addition of the RC and the NX alone...

Lightbulb Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) reported October 2015 sales of 7,426, an increase of 19.8 percent from October 2014. October is the brand's 20th consecutive month of year-over-year sales increases, and also represents the 7th consecutive month of double-digit sales increases. Year-to-date sales are up 25.0 percent over the same period in 2014, and also noteworthy is that year-to-date sales through October have already eclipsed the total MMNA sales for 2014.

Mitsubishi's family of CUVs led the charge again in October. The new Outlander continues its successful launch with its best October since 2002, reporting 2,040 units sold—more than double the amount sold last October. Not to be outdone, Outlander Sport had its best ever October with sales of 3,094, an increase of 25.4 percent from last October.

"Outlander Sport continues to be the best selling model for the Mitsubishi Motors brand and the newly introduced 2016 Outlander, with over 100 changes, has generated its own set of sales records, attracting new people to the brand," said Don Swearingen, executive vice president, MMNA. "Together, these 2 vehicles account for over 69 percent of the brand's total volume for the month of October."

I put Mercedes ahead as I'm pretty sure they claim all Mercedes-Benz vehicles when they brag about total sales. Either way, close competition between the Germans!
i think you should list mb as 29020 (without sprinter, smart) as bmw breaks out their numbers. when mb says 'passenger cars' they also mean suvs or 'light trucks' as everyone else calls them

either way, they're neck and neck down the stretch

if it wasn't for the rc buffing up the lexus sedan number a bit, the results are pretty terrible.

and suvs aren't in as bad a situation, but the nx sure is helping.

The RC is off to a good start for the first 10 months of 2015 with only the RC 350 and RC F. Hopefully very soon we'll get the RC 200t and RC 300 awd sales will really take off not just in the U.S. but worldwide.

October 2015
4 Series 3,295
RC 1,333
A5 845
G37 coupe 273

YTD 2015 (Jan - October)
4 Series 37,057
RC 11,791
A5 10,657
G37 coupe 3,453

Since Inception
4 Series 75,277
RC 13,713
A5 111,682

I'm projecting that Lexus will sell about 15,000 units of the RC for all of 2015.

RC 200t
RC 300h (outside U.S.)
RC 300 awd
RC 350
RC 350C (hopefully coming soon to replace IS 250C/350C)
RC F

Lexus bring the RC 300h to the U.S.

Audi has the A5, S5 and RS5. I'm sure most sales are of the A5 base model...

Yep, new models holding the fort for Lexus, though the competition has new models as well.

The GX though is also contributing handsomely, interesting how it's often ignored. I'm really interested to see how the new LX does, when does it go on sale?

Yup, the former black sheep of the Lexus line up now regularly sells more than the GS. How the tables have turned!

BTW, first time Subaru has outsold Kia? Have they crossed streams or?
