Also, with the general aging of the population, many older people find the higher stance of some of today's sedans easier to get in and out of.

I wouldn't say they actually sit any higher, the hood line is just higher.

And the big spindle grilles on the new NX and RX allow pedestrians to land with arms and legs outstretched and not even damage the bumper

It's one of the best driver's car for 25 years despite the lackluster performance figures.
And like 2 billions people say, Miata Is Always The Answer.

Getting back to the original topic (ugly Lexus products, according to jalopnik), while I'm certainly no fan of the extreme spindle-grilles, IMO the existing Cadillac SRX (Cadillac has a replacement CT-5 on the way) is as awkward-looking, if not more, than anything Lexus has done yet......including the new NX and RX.

I think you mean two million. No, the non-turbo Miata is not a powerhouse, and its max torque comes at a relatively high RPM, so you have to wind the engine a little. But, then that torque does come, it is responsive due to the car's small size and light weight. And that smallness/lightness and sports-car underpinnings give it virtually Go-Kart handling.
If the impact doesn't make them a burger first.

Yes. Miata is a slow roadster, but it's not the speed, it's the experience that matters.
I'm ready to trade my WRX in for ND, and slap AVO turbo in the car after 1 year. 300hp Miata should be fast enough.
