Agreed on all points, BMW deserves lots of credit for developing such a low volume car geared for enthusiasts and doing the right way.

Those tailights just ruin the rear for me and the interior design has no flow.

Really no point to get a 435i when you can get M2 for same $$$.

The 435 is just too bloated for my liking, regardless of cost. I had the previous gen 335 coupe that got destroyed by Sandy, and the new 435i just didn't do it for me. I got myself the m235i earlier this spring, and I find it better in every possible way than my old 335 was. I will admit, maybe they could do a better job on the tail lights, but they more than made up for it with the awesome looking headlights that don't extend to the grille like other BMW models. I love everything else about the car, and I especially love the interior. I find it very good looking and better build than the 3/4 series interior that has this flimsy center stack - and most importantly BMW has finally figured out how to place cup holders properly. The M2 will only improve on all these things, without becoming obnoxiously overpriced and overpowered. And another bonus of the 2 series is that its rare, and M2 is going to be very exclusive for the lucky owners.

You just saw the official launchfilm of the first-ever BMW M2 Coupé, now you can see the M2 virtually on the street. The sports car will have its video game debut in Need for Speed. Starting November 3rd, the BMW M2 Coupé will be available to drive and customize in Need for Speed. The exceptionally realistic virtual model of the BMW M2 Coupé will be a selection option from the start and can be configured to suit your personal preferences. The BMW M2 Coupé is also an integral part of the game plot outside of the different free race modes.

Hard to argue that!

I really like this M2 - hopefully the driving dynamics are at least as good as the 1M was. Hopefully it sounds better than the M3/M4... haha

Great. Another overweight pig. They could have shaved off the backseat since it's practically useless. At least, this will give BMW fanboys nostalgia of M3 E46.

The BMW M2 aims to be one of those cars in 2016, following up from the wonderful 1M Coupe. Hunter Skipworth takes a look under the M2's skin - and gets just a taste of the turbocharged inline-six in action.

The question is - WHY would a commercial of a GERMAN car, also designed for American market be done on a right-hand side driving model?
