Cadillac needs to fire their interior designer IMO. The CUE radio/touch screen/buttons that don't work, the stupid looking gauges on all their cars(I hate digital gauges that look like poor representations of analogue), the multitudes of cut lines and different textures on the dash/door panels/center console, the real but so shiny it looks like fake woodgrain, all of it just looks way too glossy, way too overwrought and just way too busy to where there is so much going on all the different cut lines, textures, finishes, etc compete and clash with one another.
If you look at the interior of an Audi, everything just flows so nicely together, all the bits are kind of subdued, its low gloss, its not all different textures, shades, its not all shiny, competing with each other.

The BMW 1 Series M Coupe was an instant classic. It was the product of an internal skunkworks project to shoehorn the suspension, wheels, and brakes from the larger M3 Competition Pack into the 1 Series. The fender-flared squat little bulldog was a bit badly behaved, which only made us love it more. These days, BMW’s cars are more capable, but at the expense of the involvement that made the brand what it is today. So we were genuinely concerned that the M2 would be more of a marketing exercise than a real Motorsport-inspired product. MOTOR TREND Senior Editor Jason Cammisa takes the M2 to the back roads, and brings SCCA Hall of Fame inductee Randy Pobst along to the Streets of Willow to find out if the M2 is a worthy successor to the laugh-a-minute 1M Coupe in this episode of Ignition, presented by The Tire Rack.

Mcchip-DKR Pumps The BMW M2 To An M4-Beating 450 HP
With 370 hp on offer courtesy of its turbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six, theBMW M2 is certainly no slouch. Still, for those who crave even more power, German tuners Mcchip-DKR have the solution.
Starting with the engine, there is a modified turbocharger capable of delivering more boost. The ECU has been remapped, custom downpipes have been fitted and a high-flow 200-cell catalytic converter replaced the stock item.
All up, this results in power rising to 445 hp and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque, making Mcchip-DKR's M2 more potent than an M4. The tuner has also developed a new intercooler, and fitting it brings the tally up to 450 hp and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of twisting power.
To enjoy the entire package, customers will have to part ways with 8,090 euros ($9,000). Not exactly pocket money, but even so the finished item goes for $62,000 in the US, which is at least $5,000 cheaper than a base-spec M4.
