Sigh....I think it looks horrendous. Design just for the sake of being radical, instead of actual design.

Kinda looks like a Juke in which it competes with, albeit better looking. The headlights are cool.

Why would they name it C-HR when Honda has the HR-V?!?!?! At least give it a real name or alphanumeric.. Rav4, Highlander, 4Runner, Sequoia, Land Cruiser..

Name fit when it was going to be a Scion (FR-S, iM, iA, etc), too late to change stuff/tooling when they decided to get rid of Scion I would imagine.

Introducing the all-new Toyota C-HR, Coupé High Rider. Its flowing coupé style and high-riding SUV poise is an illuminating combination that keeps active lives moving. Designed for people who live life to the full and expect their car to keep up, the Toyota C-HR offers a completely new way to move through life.
****ty thread title BTW - just rename it: 2017 Toyota C-HR. Simple and to the point.

IMHO, car looks amazing:
http://www.cnet.com/roadshow/auto/2017-toyota-c-hr/

Official specs are same as concept, so Qashqai and Tiguan sized, C segment SUV based on new Prius platform.
Engines are 1.2t with 115hp and 1.8l HSD from new Prius... Russia gets 2.0l CVT while US might get that or 1.8l.

Main markets are Europe, with it being built in Turkey and possibly Japan. Wheelbase is tiny bit smaller than Rav4 but overhangs are much smaller.

It is going to be priced between European Rav4 which is pretty expensive and Auris... I would guess it is going to be priced similar to Avensis. Hard to translate that to US numbers but in Europe Rav4 is very expensive while Auris isnt, so there is a lot of space.

It has Toyota Safety Sense + package as standard btw, so it gets all speed radar cruise control standard... that tells you a bit about pricing :-).

I would guess that in US, it is not going to be much cheaper if at all than base Rav4.... Rav4 also has quite the range, but it starts at low 24k... for instance Scion iM starts at 20k and this will have to be at least 3-4k more expensive than that.

This doesn't look like the most practical thing. The rear passenger's head is going to be right where that funky door handle is. Thus there is going to be very limited room behind them for cargo. The Scion iM looks to have a lot more room in it.

Also that promo video had to be about the most pandering and lame thing ever. Proves my point that this is going to be more about style over substance. Getting to style, this thing is UGLY!!!!

Oooh that's a vehicle just one point shy of winning the 2016 Pontiac Aztec Admiration Society award. The thing looks like it belongs in a Transformers reboot sequel.

This has to be a king of blind spots among miniature CUVs.

Also for a second I thought it was Honda by looking at those tails.

I think it looks great and its far from Aztek looking. I thought it was supposed to develop 155hp from the 1.2t. 115hp is seriously weak, but I suppose the low end torque will make it feel peppy

I'm quite surprised to find myself liking this thing, but I love it! I'm not usually into this sort of radical styling but I think this looks awesome!

Content is variable by selling region, so Toyota Safety Sense may not be standard in the U.S., etc. Pricing can't be too out of line with the likes of the HR-V, CX-3, Renegade, 500x etc. Toyota knows this. They price to the market they're in. HR-V starts nearly 3-4K under the CR-V. Although Honda's HR-V starting price did shock a lot of people with how low it was, which is part of the contributor to the success of the model here in the States. CX-3 is only $1,800 or so below the CX-5. So

Same here. I kinda like

regarding the honda taillight, I agree. Looks like rav 4 had a baby with the new civic.

looks like trunk is as usable as a CT.

I like it as well.

The Turbocharged engines are probably not gonna make it here, pretty sure it's gonna be the 2.0L or the Hybrid powertrain for the US Market.
