It's like the new nose is pushing out of its cocoon.

Yep, interior is money. Exterior?

Yep, I agree in regards to those new taillights.

So true, it looks horrible. It doesn't look well integrated at all up close.

Yes, I shamed myself

Very excited to see F-Sport versions as well, though the GS450h is what I'm really waiting on

Good analogy. The GS will be permanently giving birth through it's grille.

Hmm, just a theory but I think Lexus added 5 more hp to the 3.5L V6 making 311hp because that is perfectly rounded to 70hp more than the 241hp 2.0T

I will reserve judgement until I see it in person.

^Perhaps it's the lighting or something, but after watching that video of the GS in motion I think I've warmed up to it enough to say I like it now.

exactly.

whereas the bmw 5 appearance is more homogeneous .

There aren't so many separate "pieces" in the front bumper like the GS. It's just one whole bumper.

I have the same nit to pick with the LX. So many separate panels on the rear. So many lines makes it look not clean.
Look at the difference when you delete all those lines.

pman6 - isnt that dual tailgate?

As to BMW looking homogeneous - yes, it looks vanilla, just like how 2013 MY GS looks now.
