Default how to save 25000 on a gs (buy a CPO 528i)

hi all i am a big lexus lover, i think the gs is a phenomenal automobile. I recently was looking at used cpo's gs 350 and heres my issues
1) a 14 with 8 speed automatic still is around 37-40 k over my budget
2) didnt want a 13 with 6 speed
3) overall gas mileage is around from what i heard 22mpg which is not up to standards this day in age.
so my search started and
bought a 2013 bmw 528 cpo with 19,000 miles with nav, premium package for 32k
i am covered till 50 k under warranty all maintanence
i am covered till 100 with cpo
i realize its not as reliable as lexus or handle in the curves as well, but i enjoy luxury more than sport
the 5 powertrain is unreal has power when you need it, no lag off the line and after 230 miles 65% highway 35% city, getting 30mpg combined very impressed on the highway this thing at 70 with cruise gets 37 mpg
car handles great ride is great
got 1.9 percent financing.
just thought i would share i don't think the car can be beat if you can find a clean one with low mileage for 30k,
safe driving to all

sorry a bit confused. You went searching for a GS but bought a BMW 528 instead?

Where did you save money on the GS? Or are you saying that buying the BMW for 32k is saving 25000 on a GS?

got any pics?

Let me guess... Due to your posts.... Would say you are 25 yrs old at the most.

Although I agree the BMW is a nice car, but I wonder if you came into the forum just to stir the pot. Not sure what you were trying to accomplish with your post. I drove multiple variations of the 5 series as well as other luxury cars and the moment I was done driving the f sport it was over.

Did you actually drive the Lexus?

You are also comparing brand new to a cpo. The difference in the older Lexus and the BMW was a $1k. Hardly noticeable in pricing.

Nonetheless, I have a feeling you will see other f sports on the road and say... "Damn, I should have gone with the Lexus"

Best of luck

BMW is new money, Mercedes is old money, and Lexus is smart money. Can't say you made the wisest choice here.

Now I might be a bit biased here but that's an awesome quote lol.

Yea OP was def stirring the pot, whipping it like james harden after a four step-back 3 point shot

Hey now. Some of us twenty-five year olds can form a full sentence. I didn't even bother trying to understand what this person was trying to say. I'm going to say this is a sixteen year old with mommy and daddy's credit card.

At first I thought it says how to save $2500, then I'm like yea that's easy, people saved a lot more than that from the MSRP anyway. But then I saw one more zero and I'm like wait a minute.. $25 Grand?! DA HELL?!

Yea, but was that $25k saved during the day or at night? Was the salesman wearing black or brown shoes during the transaction? What size socks was he wearing? These are important factors that determined whether you got a good deal or not. With my thorough analysis, I'm thinking... 'meh'.
