Bleeding the clutch fluid will not do much to change the shift characteristics. You would have to revise the mechanical parts to change the way it feels, hence the aftermarket short shifter.

If your clutch fluid has any air in it because it isn't bled properly, the clutch doesn't disengage fully and can cause issues.

stock shifter vs aftermarket. Big difference

another popular "mod" on the forum is to remove the clutch assist spring. With it in the clutch has this strange inaccurate feel, its tougher to feel the engagement point. Took 30 seconds to remove it and its way way way better. After driving it for a few minutes, my clutch control was much smoother and accurate than before. Clutch is fine, just the shifter leaves much to be desired, but theres a solution for that.

May go in this weekend to get tint and xpel on the front bumper

Yes, but that's not going to get rid of the mushy feeling. Sometimes that's just the nature of the transmission and you can't change the way it feels without doing something to the linkage.

I'm slightly disappointed at Ford. They make great engines and chassis, but somehow leave the shifter feel less than satisfactory. You basically use the shifter day in and day out.

I'm not talking about the mushy shifter feeling, I'm talking about the people that have issues going into third. That's straight up driver error.

Grats. These are tempting, especially considering the possibility of adding something like a Bama supercharger down the line, but I just like the exclusivity of the F too much to give it up.

edit: removing the clutch helper spring is also a popular mod among 370 owners. Eventually the best solution was found to replace it with a lighter spring.

Congrats. I'm tempted... Took these last week across from my dealer while waiting for servicing.

Congratulations!
After a couple of thousand miles, switch the gearbox oil to synthetic and it would be slick!

is this your first sports car?

after driving many, owning a few sports cars, even the new 2015 mustang feels horribly made from the inside out, nothing feels good besides the power of the engine.

That's just Ford in general, not just the Mustang.

Agreed, im not biased. i actually think Ford is the only car company that vastly improved in such a short amount of time. i want to know where they source their materials. its really stopping them from being a great company.

last coupe I had was a 2000 Honda Prelude, then a 2IS and 3IS.

what sportscars are you comparing this to? I've had last gen stang for a rental one time and that was terrible.
