Race Red '15 Mustang GT Premium + Performance Package + Navi

Mom found out I was going to trade in the 14 so she wanted it. Shes going to sell the 06 IS that she got when I got the 14

Car has huge presence, especially with the subtle color
Ridiculous amount of power, car is a exercise in self control
Better infotainment than laggy Lexus.
Premium has similar features to Lexus: heated/cooled seats, keyless ignition, keyless access, backup camera, 8" LCD.
Visibility, ride quality, road noise, better than I expected for a sportscar
Rough around the edges on some things - lowsy shifter feel, lowsy audio quality. Easily solved with inexpensive aftermarket parts.

Mods coming: matte black horse, 5.0, GT emblems, LED lighting all around
Mods planned: speakers, MGW shifter

didnt want to stomach near 80k for RCF. Got this for under 39k OTD heavily loaded. Yea its manual. I would disagree with that best manual comment. Its an ok feeling one, nothing some aftermarket cant fix.

Congrats and welcome to Team America. For every horsepower per dollar it's hard to beat an American sports car for the money. Living in Cali I got tired of modding and dealing with smog so I just pick up something fast stock. I have my eyes on the new GT350 when it comes out but wait until the hype dies down a bit. If all goes well I'd like to pick one up.

to be honest, not really missing much features that my IS had besides Mark Levinson system and the digital gauges. My 14 IS didnt have cooled seats then later they added it to 15. Feels good to drive manual again

What's your verdict on the Manual Stick Shift in your car? (Getrag MT-82)

its ok, can be improved with aftermarket. The shifting mechanism isnt directly bolted to the transmission so at high loads the transmission will flex out of alignment and people get locked out of 3rd gear at high rpms and other times it has an inaccurate mushy feel. They make an aftermarket transmission mount bushing which helps stop this flex but increases NVH. With an aftermarket Barton Indutries or MGW shifter, shifting mechanism gets bolted to the transmission and solves this issues as well as shortening shifts. People going to an aftermarket shifter said its a huge improvement. Some people change out the tranny fluid to a better synthetic one and a lot of issues with smoothness and notchyness go away.
